Months ago Prison’s ITC Points started a new line of work, which we call Open Points, in order to foster the exchange of knowledge and experiences between people: those inside and outside. Thus the offenders learn new skills and people can get better insight into the lives of those who are in prison.

In May we were pelased to count on Irene, from La Mandarina de Newton and Co-Creating-Cultures, to teach us to discover and think about science. We have collected some highlights of the day in this video:

She explained to us about the competition ‘Science of the City‘, an exhibition project that begins with a video contest that brings together the experiences of science in everyday life, and we decided to participate!

Finally, the group presented two videos: one experiment about sound and one discovery about electromagnetic waves.
